SERVICE KIT

Butterfly valves

Complete valves, manual and actuated, for CIP-cleaned product and utility lines.

Single-seat valves

Changeover, shut-off and tank-outlet bodies with pneumatic actuation.

Mixproof double-seat valves

Where product and CIP fluid share a manifold and must be separated by two independent seats.

Valve seats and seal rings

The wear item on a hygienic valve. Cure system, not polymer family, determines whether the seat survives the CIP circuit.
OEM ONLY

Butterfly valve service kits

Seat, stem seals and bushings as a matched kit. The elastomer is specified by kit, not selected as an option.

Seat valve service kits

Seals, guide rings and springs for single-seat and mixproof bodies.

Disc bushings and stems

A worn bushing lets the disc move off centre, and the seat is then loaded on one side.

Pneumatic actuators

Spring-return and double-acting actuators, and the repair kits for them.

Valve control units and sensing heads

Position feedback, solenoid and bus interface. The unit that reports whether the valve actually moved.

Check and constant-pressure valves

Non-return, overflow and pressure-holding valves on product and CIP return lines.

Sampling and instrument valves

Aseptic sampling points, and the small-bore valves feeding instrument connections.

Manual handles, locks and indicators

Lockable handles and position indicators for lines segregated during CIP.
Identification

Send the serial number of the unit, and a photograph of its nameplate with it. The serial number is what the part is ordered against; the nameplate settles which version of the machine it belongs to, because the same number can appear on more than one.

Part numbers are welcome where you have them. The quotation states the genuine part, its origin and its lead time.

The technical position

The elastomer is selected by kit number, not by material name

A service kit specifies the elastomer by kit number. The compound is a separate part rather than an option on the same part.

Seat performance in a CIP circuit is governed by the cure system of the rubber, which is rarely stated on an aftermarket component.

What is actually happening

Sealing force retained across CIP cycles

Both compounds are correctly described as EPDM. The panels show retained sealing force over six hundred CIP cycles for each cure system.
