A Netherlands-registered supplier of genuine OEM spare parts, lubricants, filtration and coatings to production plants across MENA, the Gulf and East Africa. Established 2021, Rotterdam.
Maintenance consumables and wear parts for production plants: vacuum and process pumps, valves, seals, filtration and membranes, lubricants, coatings, electrical and instrumentation spares. Ten categories, one hundred and twenty supply lines, described on the scope of supply.
The plants are in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, cement, and grain and milling. The machines overlap more than the products do: the same vacuum pump, the same hygienic valve and the same drive appear on all four, and they wear in the same way.
The company grew out of industrial automation and spare parts distribution, which is where the working method comes from: identify the part from the nameplate, buy it through the manufacturer’s channel, and document it so the plant’s auditor can trace it.
Where a component is OEM-specified — valve seats, mechanical seals, membrane elements, vacuum pump vanes — we supply the manufacturer’s own part, traceable back to the maker.
Where a manufacturer has discontinued a part, we identify the successor part and say so.
Every GFSI-benchmarked food safety standard — BRCGS, FSSC 22000, IFS, SQF — expects a supplier to be traceable back to the manufacturer, with an agreed specification and notification of any change. The pharmaceutical and cement standards ask the same question in different words.

A plant needs a German vane, a Swedish seat kit, an American filter element and a Belgian coating, and it needs them in one consignment, cleared once, with the paperwork its auditor will ask for. That consignment is assembled in the Netherlands.
Parts are bought genuine, through the manufacturer’s own channel or an authorised distributor, and they arrive traceable to the factory that made them.
The manufacturer can be anywhere. The channel is European. That is the whole business, and it is the reason a plant a long way from the nearest OEM office can run on genuine parts.
Several of the most significant service intervals in a production plant are not published by the manufacturer. A maintenance plan built on an invented number is worse than one built on none, so those lines are marked as estimates and derived from the plant’s own records.
WAM Contracting is run by its founder, a Dutch entrepreneur of Arab origin, based in Rotterdam. Before establishing the company in 2021 he lived in Southeast Asia for ten and a half years and built a business there — on the buyer’s side of long-distance supply, where a consignment is judged by whether it arrives complete, cleared and on time, and a stopped line is measured in days.
Every enquiry to WAM Contracting is read at that desk, against the manufacturer’s own documentation, and answered in writing with the part, its channel, its origin and its lead time. Where nothing is published, the quotation says so.
